What is the BDA?
The British Dental Association is the professional association and trade union for dentists in the UK. It has over 19,000 qualified members, the majority of the profession, and almost 3,500 student members. The BDA develops policies to represent dentists working in every sphere of dentistry, from general practice to community and hospital settings, universities and the armed forces.
What does the BDA do?
The BDA aims to provide the best for its members, both in terms of practical help through services and products and by ensuring it is a national player in the development of healthcare policy. It provides its members with legal, health and safety and educational advice as well as influencing government policy in each of the UK's four nations.
The BDA is working with Colgate on this vital initiative in the fight to change people's habits to ensure better oral health for all.
